Todd Transportation: moving for over a century
Dave Zsido has written a history of Todd Transportation. The history of which goes back to 1916. It was started by Archibald Adams Todd, the great grandfather of the current owners. It is interesting to note that when Todd Transportation first started out they used horses to haul ice as this was depicted on an early business card. The company has gone through many different reorganizations as well as location changes throughout the years. Dave also discusses extensively the various trucks involved throughout the company’s history.
This quarterly includes many beautiful photos that are black and white as well as in color. These photos come from Dave’s personal collection as well as the Todd Transportation files. Seeing these magnificent photos will surely bring back fond memories.
